Make your own theme
Pick your colours, give it a name, and put it on your pager or T-Deck over USB. It shows up in Settings → Theme next to the built-in ones. Everything happens in this browser and on your device: nothing is uploaded, and nobody else sees it.
1 Start from a look
The look decides the lock-screen picture, the shapes, the sounds and the buzz. The colours are yours.
2 Choose your colours
Click a colour to change it. Point at one to see where it is used.
Every colour (10 more)
These follow your main colours until you set one yourself. Tick auto to let it follow again.
3 Name it
Whatever you like, up to 20 characters. Plain letters, numbers and signs: the menu's font has no accents or emoji.
4 Put it on your device
Plug your pager or T-Deck into this computer with a USB cable and switch it on. It restarts once when the browser connects, which is normal, and nothing on it is lost.
Sending over USB needs Chrome or Edge on a computer. You can still design here: copy the link below and open it in Chrome or Edge to send it.
On your device
What was said over USB
Needs Squatch Mesh 1.2.7 or later on the pager, or 1.2.4-beta4 or later on the T-Deck. Older? Update the pager or the T-Deck first.
Keep it or pass it on
Your design stays in this browser, so it is here next time. The link below holds the whole theme in the address itself: send it to a friend, or open it on another computer.
These are the real screens, drawn by the firmware and recoloured here as you pick.
The theme maker's pictures didn't load. Check your connection and reload the page.
Good to know
Up to four of your own. Send one with a name you have used before and it replaces that one. Connect and you can take any of them off again from this page.
Light themes work. Pick a pale background and dark text: names, bubbles and the rest follow. If writing gets hard to read, the page says so.
It is only on your device. Other people on the mesh see your messages, not your colours. A theme is 15 colours and a name, kept in the device's settings.
